This policy explains how A&K Worldwide Enterprises FZCO processes personal data when you use akdronix.com, send us an inquiry or contact us. We act as controller under the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where it applies to visitors in the European Union, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

What we process and why
- Inquiry form: company, name, business email, phone, country, organisation type, products, quantities, intended application, message and your confirmations. Purpose: answering your inquiry and preparing a quotation. Legal basis: steps prior to a contract at your request (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- Compliance screening: company and contact data of buyers, consignees and end users. Purpose: sanctions and export-control checks. Legal basis: legal obligations (GDPR Art. 6(1)(c)) and our legitimate interest in lawful trade (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
- WhatsApp and email: the content of your messages and your contact details. Purpose: communication about your request.
- Server logs: IP address, date and time, page requested, browser. Purpose: secure operation of the website. Logs are kept by our hosting provider for a short period. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)).
Cookies and local storage
The website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Your inquiry list is stored only in your browser's local storage on your device so that it is available on the contact page. It is not sent to us until you submit the form, and you can clear it at any time by removing the items or clearing your browser data. Fonts and videos are served from our own server.

- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), which forwards form submissions to our email inbox.
- Our email and hosting providers.
- WhatsApp Ireland Ltd / Meta Platforms, if you contact us on WhatsApp. Their own privacy policy applies.
- Manufacturers, freight forwarders and customs brokers, as far as needed for a quotation or delivery.
- Authorities such as the UAE Executive Office for Control and Non-Proliferation, where required for export permits or by law.
International transfers
We are based in the United Arab Emirates. Data may also be processed by service providers in other countries, including the United States and China. Where the GDPR applies, we rely on the safeguards available under Chapter V GDPR, in particular the necessity of the transfer for pre-contractual measures at your request (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR) and, where applicable, standard contractual clauses.
Retention
Inquiries that do not lead to an order are deleted after three years. Contract and compliance records are kept for the period required by commercial, tax and export-control law, generally five years.
Your rights
You may request access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability, and you may object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw consent at any time. Security
